Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure.

I had a conversation with a friend that I haven’t spoken to in months and he asked me, “I remember we used to talk about our futures. Do you still want to be an event coordinator?” And almost instinctively, I replied “Oh gosh no.” I don’t even remember that part of my life anymore. I feel kind of sad that I let go of the dream of becoming a wedding coordinator for larger dreams. Regardless, I don’t think I would be happy if I let go of my creative side. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up doing it as a side job. I’m tempted to say that life is too short, but it’s not. Life is the longest thing we will ever experience. I just need to manage my time properly in order to achieve the things I want, the things that will make me happy.

I’m a line too fine to trace

But I could be your consolation

If you’d be my saving grace.

It aint all black and white.

I always find it more difficult to say the things I mean than the things I don’t.

One of the lessons that I grew up with was to always stay true to yourself and never let what somebody else says distract you from your goals. And so when I hear about negative and false attacks, I really don’t invest any energy in them, because I know who I am.
